What are the duties and responsibilities of a Finance Supervisor in a construction industry?

I am about to be promoted this week as a Finance Supervisor and the turn out of the events are so quick I just don't know what to do or the expect from that job. I'm absolutely clueless. I will be oriented anytime this week and I know deep inside of me that the job ahead of me is like a huge mountain to climb. Sorry you have totally misunderstood my question. They entrusted me this position because of the fact that I am one of the best employees in their company. During our their annual strategic planning it was reported there that the revenues were on record high and I was one of the key elements of why they achieved that so basically, that's the reason why I will get promoted but this position? I know where I am good at but this one totally surprised me. Last week I was being briefed by the HRAD Manager about this and I thought yeah I could handle it but as the time gets nearer and nearer the nerves start to kick in. Until now I feel like I'm in a dream. I'll wait until it's being officially announced in the entire company. (sigh) It feels like a huge rock being put on top of my shoulders. I hope I can get through with this. @ Franz Oh sht! My golly! @ Max Are you trying to be sarcastic? Mind you I already posted this question in Business Section and yet I still get no answers to date. FYI.

What does this have to do with Traveling? Maybe more specifically, what does it have to do with Travel Philippines?

You're clueless and they promoted you? Sounds to me like they are looking for a fall-guy to take the rap when the money turns up missing. Good luck, you're going to need it.
