Would Victoria, BC be a good place to relocate to from the States is I have a high school age son?

Job opportunity in Victoria. I currently live in Austin, Texas area. I am worried about schools, cost of living, and quality of living as I have a son who will be in the 9th grade next year. Any advice.

I live in the Austin area too. Great area, but with all the b.s. about Texas wanting to secede from the U.S., if I had a chance to relocate to Canada I'd be gone with the wind. I'd look into Canadian citizenship too. Just my own opinion. And I can't stand Rick Perry.

Your taxes may be higher, but don't forget that our taxes are used to pay for our medical. You will... More
