Jesus preached total holy socialism. Give your jacket and your coat to the persons that asks for it. Visit prisoners and the sick and try and give them respite and comfort. Take in the homeless and help the poor. Be aware that all material things like possessions and wealth are worthless to God because God is only interested in what your heart is full of and that should be mercy and compassion and love. Unfortunately it can't be done in the world for the world is evil. Communism is not socialism. Communism is an atheistic ideology were people are reduced to dialectics. Socialism done correctly enhances people and lifts them out of the poverty created by capitalism. Human nature is opposed in general to these ideals. Human beings think they are separate and individual. Look at my country the UK. We have a socialist health care system. We have a socialist benefit system. We have a universal education system. That is being eroded by the forces of greed and selfishness. Communism has damaged socialism of that there is no doubt but only an idiot would equate one with the other. The negative aspects of socialism are human beings who won't share and help each other. People who think...this is my life and this is my money and these are my things and this is my property. The very construction they are living in..the body belongs to nature. It will perish. It will become dust and shadows or smoke and atoms. American people in general don't get socialism because America is a country founded on principles that were evil to begin with. Exploitation of slaves. Land theft from the Native Americans and the destruction of their cultures. The Monroe Doctrine and Manifest Destiny are just words used to cover a plethora of human rights crimes to pursue the power of one nation as a global super power. Where is it now! A Communist Atheist country called China runs the show on the global market economy. Isn' that ironic. You see Socialism require inward investment in the country and a people to lay the ground work for a better future for the children. This doesn't happen. Capitalists downsize and outsource jobs to maximise profits by exploiting the prevailing conditions of a poorer nation to manufacture goods to sell to the consumer.The profit is not invested but hiden away in bank accounts or paid out in shares. The people of the country then have less or no work and they can't pay for their homes. This happens when people are encouraged to live beyond their means by buying things on credit like the illusion of owning your home. Look at the state of the housing market today. I could go on. Socialism is basically an ideal/idealism that describes a kind of society where people work together to get a fair standard of living. So, society works together as the collective to create a place of bounty and pleasure for all. They believe that everything in society, (and what they make together by their efforts should exist for the benefit of society); and that it is because of the efforts of the society as the collective that the people live in these conditions of life. Now, it sounds good on paper, but I would suggest you speak to people who have lived under those regimes. For example: we have many people in the U.S. from Russia, or Venezuela, the Cubans, etc. who will be more than happy to help you with your school work. They will share with you their experiences and show you why this ideology hasn't worked very well. I would look up history, maybe start with an overview of the ideology in general. A little background as to how and the WHY it started. Maybe cite some examples of people throughout history who advocated this ideology. For example: Karl Marx. But then, check out how he ended up at the end of his life. He was a man of contradiction in terms. He campaigned for communism, but lavished his family in luxuries every chance he got. Socialism and communism are two theories that have been widely misunderstood because it really doesn't work, so those who advocate it, will "explain it" to their benefits. In those countries, the people, (the collective), are working together alright. Yeap! They work hard for the "society", but guess what? They all work for those in leadership, and believe the leaders are eating well, and driving the best vehicles, living in the palaces, etc., while the people still working hard to make them comfortable. I wish my grandma were still alive. She could tell you about what happened in Cuba. She used to tell us how Fidel came in and made all these promises to the people. And told them they wouldn't have to pay rent; or work for the rich man anymore; and that he would stop racism in Cuba, etc. She said, after he got into power, they had a VERY SHORT honeymoon phase. She said one morning they woke up to a police state and martial law. She remembered how these school buses arrived to the homes and told everyone to pack their belongings, and were all moved to ghettos because their homes now belonged to "El Estado." (the State). And these were not families with huge amounts of money. These were working families who were stripped of their homes. She also remembers these same school buses coming to pick up the people and then taken to the country were they were all, COLLECTIVELY, picking, planting, and gardening for "El Estado." She said they did get lunch and a short break in the afternoon, but that they all worked from sunrise to sundown. She also shared that those who "dared" to complain were immediately taken away, and were not seen again. So, in essence, they went from one tyrant to the next. It is my opinion that Socialism, while sounds good on paper, only satisfies the greed of those in power. And those in power sure do practice some of the elements of capitalism. I hope this helps. 	How do I get a job with Dodgy work history and no experience? Basically- no degree, although I have tried completing one in the past and stopped because of physical and mental health issues which were overwhelming to deal with along with going to classes full time. I'm not stupid and I am quite articulate. I am 23 and have only worked for about two years retail in high school and stopped working to go to university. I worked a few months in 2010 retail after I dropped out but it was only a seasonal position, and the only reason why I have not been able to constantly work is because of mental health issues. I had also tried going back to community college during my free time since i left university in 2008/9 and I had panic attacks while in community college, which made my anxiety worse from then on. Well recently I met a good doctor and he prescribed me some meds that are stabilizing my moods and I feel the best I've felt in years, and I'm ready to work. Thing is, I don't know how to get a job now since I've spent literally years being depressed and anxious doing nothing. I don't really have anything to put on my resume, and I never finished my AA degree either. All I've done is cashiering and although I do the job well and I get promoted easily when I do these jobs because I'm a hard worker and I try to go above and beyond what they ask of me,which is the attitude I have no matter what kind of work I'm doing as long as I'm getting paid. 	Why honesty, hard work and dedication have no place at work? Recently I have overlooked for a project at work and I am unable to accept it why?
