How soon before graduation should I start applying for jobs?

I'm graduating in May with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science, and I'm looking into jobs as a Clinical Research Coordinator/Associate. How soon before graduation should I start applying for jobs? I do eventually plan on going back to school for my Master's degree, probably in public health; I will most likely complete that online and continue to work, however. Alternatively, I may get a Clinical Trials certificate from BU Medical School -- I'll see what ends up working the best with my future career/employer. My schedule for my last semester of college is actually really easy -- I'll have Wednesday and Friday off, so I could theoretically work part-time for one of these companies I hope to apply to until I receive my degree in May. I was thinking of starting to apply in March -- is that too late? Too early? Advice is welcome! :) Thanks!

You should start looking for a job in the Winter - just about now. Do recruiters come to your campus? Update your resume now, dress nicely and meet and greet them.
