Looking for job ideas?

Basically: I'm a writer and musician with creative aspirations to get this story I've written published in some way and outright dread the regular workforce. I recently got this job at a furniture and appliance warehouse, but it's incredibly stressful to work under the supervisors there and the physical labor is highly strenuous. It doesn't help that I've got moderate social anxiety, too, but that's more like a personal problem. I realize that I need to pay these bills and probably move out of mom and dad's house someday, but I honestly hate the mundane workforce. Dealing with the odd and stressful situations outside my areas of skill is very taxing on a guy like me, but I need a job for now! I've tried to seek "quiet" jobs or ones that focus on a technical field, but I don't really know what to look for, specifically anyway... Anyone face this issue? It's one of those things, I know, but maybe guys like me work in libraries? Or doing IT work? Whatever the case, I need to find a way out of my job soon, before I crack like an egg and embarrass myself.
