There's rarely any work at home jobs that are legit.
You didnt say how many ads you had to post, to get this amt of money.
Or how often payday is.
There's some survey jobs ( most scams) where they wont pay out
until you make a certain amt of money & then they dont send you work,to ever attain that amt.
You would almost have to go to Step # 2 to figure out their game.
I think they want to cut thru people just looking & those susceptible to
fall for something...first. Or Craigslists "legal examiners"
http://www.resumebucketblog.com/job-hunting/top-5-craigslist-job-scams/ If you scan down to July 22 2011-- Here's someone who did this job, then the person
claimed they couldnt pay them.
Not paying you is an obvious result-- and if you have no authentic
info on the person youre dealing with, then youre just out time and labor.
http://jobsearch.about.com/u/ua/jobsearchscams/jobscams.55.htm Another person who did the job, then wasnt able to contact the person to get paid.
Some will have purchase the needed software. It wont cost much.
But they get your credit card number and re-occuring payments start showing up.
http://www.scambook.com/report/view/13689/wandaloisrentals-Complaint-13689-for-$5,000.00 Here's a person who posted ads.
The people paid her thru Paypal.
Then they had to Western Union the money to their " boss".
Western Union's site warns..never wire money to a stranger. Its like cash.
Lost $5000
Im not sure what the scam is w/o more info. But it has the trademarks of one.
Its a home job. Its simple that they can lure people in easily.
Craigslist # 1 rule is to only deal with people in your own city.
Im guessing they arent.
They could easily find someone local and post the job for free at the State Unemployment Office.
They want someone miles away.
Its risky.
