How to keep up with my diet at work?

I just recently started a job as a kennel technician at a Vet. I'm also trying to lose weight & in order to do that I need to be able to snack during the work day to keep my metabolism going, but I don't get any designated breaks except for lunch. I'm busy on my feet all day & not really sure it's OK for me to take a few minute break for a snack (if I am done with one task I immediately have to find something else to do & no one ever says anything about taking a break so it's led me to believe that there are none), thou I don't see why it would be a problem. Not getting a snack seems to have a horrible effect on me thou especially since I'm on my feet, I get dizzy & nauseas I assume from lack of nutrients & water. Any suggestions?

Just bring your own stuff from home! Bring a bottle of water of course! Then you could also bring an apple, carrots, sandwich, just pack some little snacks from home.
