bank if you overdraft withdraw money is fee for that one time or repeatedly until you put cash in account?

Basically I want to overdraw a large amount which im going to use to pay credit card since the new job wont start until january. If my checking account is $-1000 plus $35 fee will it just stay like that for the duration of a month or will i get fee every few days or so!?

Depends on your bank. When I had midfirst I would receive one overdraft fee for each transaction made while in the negative, and then an extended overdraft fee if my account was overdrawn for more than 5 days. It si best to pay the minimum payment on the credit card, and not overdraft.

generally bank overdraft charges continue to multiply until the overdraft is fully covered. you are committing financial suicide with your approach plan..would be best to make min cc payments until you have resolved finances.
