I have multiple things wrong with my car?

1) It squeals SO FREAKIN LOUD when I start it after a while - its embarrassing because when I would start it in the morning, I would feel like I'm disturbing the neighbors... my mom told me to just hit the gas pedal real quick (as if zooming off down the street) and it stops. but I want it to start up quiet 2) Horn does not work - I went to advance auto parts and they told me its either the fuse or the actual horn itself so I'm not sure which one to buy. She also gave me a list of how much the parts are from their store and its only $30. I have that right now so I could buy that later. 3) My window had a problem coming up but never going down. I would literally have to kick the mess out of the window button for it to come up so I was told that that is either the window motor or regulator (i have no idea what the difference is) A good friend of mine that I work with was so nice to buy the window motor for me ($100) since he makes more money than I do and has told me to come by Saturday to get it put it. His uncle is an auto mechanic. If I buy the horn or fuse, they could put that in while they're at it.... just have to figure out which one it is. 4) Air doesnt work- I'm not concerned about that at all because its so freaking cold here in VA. my heat works though : ) but I am having a baby in May/June and its going to be hot and I don't want her to be sweating everytime I take her somewhere 5) My brother was being a dumbass one night and kicked my driver side mirror clean off of the (hinges?) I'm not exactly sure if I could fail inspection with the mirror like that but it needs to be done asap. by boyfriend taped it back up there pretty good with gorilla glue and two different types of tape. 6) Sometime when I drive off, it sounds like I have cans rattling inside the engine. I'm not exactly sure what that is but it needs to be fixed because it scares me sometimes. 7) THIS IS SOMETHING I NEED TO GET DONE ASAP. I ALMOST DIED!! - I was waiting to go across an intersection and when I had a split chance to go, I took it. what happened was I pressed on the gas to hurry and get across the intersection and the car COMPLETELY shut off then came back on. Its like the gas pedal gave out on me. I almost got hit by a school bus and Penske truck. My mom gave me this car after she bought her a new 2012 Hyundai Sonata The model of the car is a 1996 Honda Accord My mom loves Hondas because she says they are reliable but this car has almost killed me and I'll be damned if I put my baby in it. She has mentioned someone wanting the car for $2000 so should I have her sell it then have her give me the money to buy another used car with less problems? What should I do? I've gotten pulled over 3 times and have gotten a ticket twice because the inspection sticker is expired.

Sounds like a car that was never properly taken care of. Also sounds like you don't have a lot of mechanical experience, which is not meant to be an insult, but it would be a lot harder to try and diagnose the problem on the internet to you without some sort of experience with cars. But here goes... More

Very sorry but this is not about a car. This is about you. Three times a police officer has stopped you for an expired inspection sticker. That means that after the first time, apparently a warning and no citation, you did nothing! Sorry, no one here can help you. I suggest the car be sold and that you take the bus... More

The only thing you can do now is to give the car away, quit driving altogether & start crossing your legs.

tl:dr - Sum-up, it's a 16 year old Honda and it's knackered. Also we deal in £££s in this section of the site, not $$$s.

Squeal = fan belt. Horn = fuse , relay , horn contacts, Door window = fuse, or motor or relay. You get problems with new & and used cars at times so get car up to scratch and see then if you still want to sell it.
