How do you get out of an abusive household?

I'm currently 16, almost 17. I love in Washington with my mum and younger brother. My mum has abused me emotionally and physically for years but police say "she can punish me in any way as long as it doesn't leave a permanent mark our as long as she doesn't hit me with a frying pan." I know that is bull, but the officers in my town don't believe me. I've come with massive bruises and recordings of what I've been told. She accuses me of being a drug addict when I'm clean thanks to my boyfriend! I Get my schoolwork done, always have, in fact I'm a previous student of the month at my school and a regular top-credit winner. I want to move in with my cousins when they get a place but out seems so far away. Done friends ate being forced to get an apartment in a couple months, but I'm not allowed to move out until I graduate.... My dad has banned me from his house and I can't live there either...

you can call child protective services or you can tell your teacher. teachers will not stand for it and they will report abuse. they have done it before.
