Will I ever get into grad school?

I've had to struggle most of my life to pay for and get through school, so my GPA is only a 3.0. I still have 2 semesters left, is graduate school out of the question for me? I want to get my PhD in psychology. I know I have to take the GRE, and my college is a state school, it isn't a top college or anything like that. A large portion of students are there just to get their prerequisites done and then they transfer. So I don't know how competitive the program will be. Also, 2 of my professors are old family friends. One is my psychology professor who is also a practicing psychologist, so he will write me a letter of recommendation, and the other is a history professor,(my minor is history), and he is a very big deal on campus. There is even a building in campus named after him. So I will have 2 letters from very important professors. I'm going to ask my german professor to write the 3rd letter, maybe this will show hat I have a broad range of education, psychology, history and a foriegn language. Opinions?
