If my job doesn't makes me happy and I get mad because I have to go work, should I quit it?

I'm a 20 year old biology student who works at Baskin Robbins. I don't feel confortable and happy here anymore, I get mad and I get to close on weekends meaning that I have lost so many get togethers with my friends. I have been working at BR for 3 years and time have passed so fast! I receive full pell grant, my dads pension and sometimes I work with a company staying at hotels... I think I have become attached to my job, I am scared of letting ot go... What would you do?

Before you quit your job first secure yourself with another job opportunity. And honestly, if you are unhappy then you shouldn't continue working there. Life is short and happiness is something that is vital to enjoy the life you do have. Go do something that will make you happy.

Maybe you should make a list of the pros and cons.. If the cons outweigh the pros maybe you should. You can also try talking with a manager to see if you can adjust your schedule, so you can work every other weekend.

It sounds like time to go. It was a good transitional job and you're feelings are telling you to move on.
