What to expect after Job Interview?

I recently had a job interview on the phone with a recruiter from Suntrust Bank for a teller position. The woman told me I answered great, so I received an email a few days later for an interview with a manager at the branch. I thought it went well, the woman seemed very attentive and interested, and was impressed with my resume because there were some things on there that were not on my application. She said she was looking to hire one person and that she had one or two other people to interview later on in the week. I received a generic e-mail from the company the other day saying they have moved on with other candidates, best of luck. I am just wondering if this could have been an error or something. My friend said she received an e-mail like that once from another company and ended up getting the job. They also had said that the position was closed, best of luck beforehand, and I ended up receiving an interview. I went on to the website yesterday to look for a position at another branch, and the one I interviewed for still said there was an opening. I have no clue what is going on. Is there a possibility I could still get it? I was planning on calling the manager tomorrow to be sure, and I have no idea what to say. Do you think the email may have been wrong?
