If you ask for a job application at a retail store, do you need to fill it out on the spot?
I'm planning on asking for a job application for a sales associate position at a clothing store, but do I need to fill it out right then or can bring it home and return it the next day? It's my first time trying to get a job.

Actually, as a retail manager, I always found it annoying when people filled them out on the spot. It was as if they could not be bothered to think about their application properly. No, you can take it home and fill it out. But to be honest. this is the slow time of the year for retail. and I bet you are wasting your time applying for that kind of job. But good luck.

You can take it home first. Unless they do an on the spot interview (it's rare but happens)
