How easy is it getting an engineering role in a F1 team?
I'm considering an engineering course at university with the end goal of working in an F1/Motorsport team. 1. What engineering course would be best? (Correct me if I'm wrong but I've always presumed aeronautical/aerospace engineering for a design role and mechanical engineering for a mechanic's role) 2. With the correct degree how would I get a job as a designer/engineer (I've heard going to BAE systems first and then applying to a F1 team for example)? And how easing would obtaining this be? 3. Any other routes into F1? Thanks for the help!
