Getting a job after college (aero engineering degree)?

I will have a B.S. in aeronautical engineering in May so I'm trying to fill out job applications. Professors will tell us that there are all sorts of jobs we can do by the time we graduate but when I start looking at the required skills section of an application there's almost always something that makes me think I'm not very confident with that skill or I've never done that before (for example I don't know C++). I don't want to apply to positions I don't qualify for so as a four year engineering graduate where should I look for a job. So far NASA, General Dynamics Electric Boat, and Boeing look promising, but that's only three companies. I know there are a lot of small companies in the aero business these days, but they seem to want people with a few years experience. Where are the starting positions? Any input is helpful I'm sure I'll find something eventually I just thought maybe someone knew exactly what I'm talking about and could provide some guidance.
