I am a 17 year veteran public middle school English teacher. How can I transition into a new profession?

I stopped teaching to go with my husband for four years and live in MX as an expat. Now I've moved back to the States to San Diego, and I would like to try a new profession without any or much reeducation. I was a very successful teacher in all areas. I'd like to work part time. I've considered something like an apartment complex assistant property manager or even cleaning apartments so that I can work for myself. I know I have unique qualifications that can transfer to many other areas. I have a BS in Education with a minor in English literature and natural science. Do you have any suggestions or experiences?
