How Would I Transfer Pharmacy Technician License/Certification To Another State?

I am currently being trained as a Pharmacy Technician in a Job Corps program in Kansas City, MO and I'm planning to relocate to California upon completion of the program. Once I'm finished, I'll be certified to work in the state of Missouri. I've looked at the California State Board of Pharmacy website and it's confusing me and giving me mixed answers. My question is: What do I have to do in order to transfer my training hours/experience and certification/license to California? Do I have to take one of their tests in order to be certified in that state? Or do I just apply for a certification and automatically get a certification or license to work in California given the amount of time, training hours and experience that I have?

Once you have completed your training and are certified in Missouri, fill out this form: Send copies of all your certificates. The California board will process your application and certify you. The process can take up to 60 days.
