If I enlist Active Duty and wash out of Technical School, will I revert back to my previous AFSC?

I enlisted into the ANG as EOD and washed out about half way though. I've been a Knowledge Operations Manager now for a year or so and am considering going RegAF because I'm having trouble finding a job. Will they let me retrain to EOD again if I enlist? If I wash out of EOD again will I revert back to KOM, or will I be given a new AFSC? I assume it would be more cost effective to keep me as a KOMer, but what do the statistics say?

A. I doubt they will let you re-enter the EOD pipeline, since you already dropped. It isn't in the best interest of the military to reinvest all the money into someone who might fail out again. So I expect they will take you in as your current AFSC, then give you the option at the 36 month point to cross train... More
