What shampoo can i buy for my dog to eliminate that natural smell? She usually ends up smelling like wet dog..?

after a bath and I love her but that smell has been getting to me lately. When I take her to the vet nothing is wrong, and I constantly forget to ask about odor eliminating shampoos when I go. So some help please (: Also she is an American Pit Bull Terrier Medium height White (her skin can sometimes be sensitive) Her hair is longer than some others I have seen.. I know this info may be useless but usually I dont post enough info so i want to be thorough! But i read that it is harmful to spay human products on dogs, or wash them with our shampoos, thanks for your impute though... I don't want to remove her natural oils but could I maybe use a Perfume of some sort that wont hurt her skin?

Any shampoo should work. When I wash my dogs I usually will use Old Spice or any kind of Axe. You could always use Head & Shoulders for the skin issue. A good conditioner would work too but be sure you thoroughly rinse your pet after using it!

With my experience I have found that dogs with sensitive and dry skin smell more. My pit bull had a very strange smell to him and he also has sensitive skin. His skin was always dry and somewhat flakey. I now put some Bacon grease in his food when his skin gets dried out but fish oil pills work just as well. Also don't... More

i used to have this problem. go to like a family dollar or any place has it. get oatmeal shampoo specially made for dogs. the worst thing you can do is use human products on an animals skin because it reacts differently and it will become dry and red. oatmeal soothes the skin and is really good with eliminating odor(:
