Am i a mean person or a jerk or maybe im just spoiled?

I live with my grandma and uncle and most of the time I get called names. If it isnt one its the other. My grandma recently called me worthless and I must admit it hurts because its coming from someone I live with. So my uncle got sick and I told him that if he needs me, he can call me (you know for like little things, i.e. a glass of water), cause I really dont mind.
I dont really ask them for anything at all. If I need something I'll ask my mom and if she doesnt have it, I'll wait until she gets paid.
My unlce recently called me a jerk, because he called me and I didnt answer. I went to him though and did what he ask. And then he was like dont worry I wont call you again and I hope you dont ask me for anything. Which in I really dont. IDK sometimes I feel like they think I'm begging them for something. I'm grateful for what I have(a roof and food) and I do so by not asking for anything.
I mean I guess I can be self-fish at times, but not intentional, I'm a shy person, and kind of bashful(relutant to draw attention to oneself) and my uncle yells at me for being that way. My grandma also said I'm nosey(which is the least offensive thing she called me), but really I'm not. If someone comes to me, I listen, and I hesitate to ask personal questions because I feel its not my place, and I also like my privacy.
I also think i suffer from depression, but its not clinically diagnosed. I'm 18 btw, and I havent started college yet, because I want to find the right university, so I wont have to do any transfering. I'm also looking for a job, so I don't have to stay home all the time. Its just sometimes I feel alone, and the world I get called by me grandma is started to take a toll on me and I kind of believe its true.
I'm just so sad all the time. I have friends and we go out but I have to be home by seven, and if im late i get yelled at. TBH, when I'm out i dont want to come back hme.

Wow, move out as soon as you can.

I dont know the whole story, but they seem like jerks, get a job, save up for a year or until you find the right school to go to, then move out to somewhere near the school for cheap.

and don't forget, people don't remember what you do for them, only what you didn't.

also, ask them why they call you those names, you might have flaws that you need to fix, stuff you might do that you think are fine but arn't, if you fix those you are good.

also if you want them to stop bitchin, do more house work, keep it clean and they wont be able to b***h that you are worthless.

but seriously, move out and get your own life if you can't handle being insulted, you are 18 you can move out when you want to.

You are none of those things I think your family is just taking their frustration out on you.. I wish I knew a way you could make them change but I still haven't figured that out myself. Just stay strong and remember you're not there forever, don't let them hold you back!

That's really sad. If they call you names, tell them your feelings. TELL THEM TO f**k OFF!

I often ask my parents to pay me for doing "jobs." Not things like cleaning inside the house or making supper, but things like cleaning & mowing the back/front yard, fixing the fence, cleaning their trucks ect. The way I see it, is im getting paid for time-consuming, non-family jobs that nobody else wants to do. Am i right, or does this seem wrong to you?
