Problems with my manager and the work allotted to me?
I am working in the field of information technology, however the manager i am reporting is not technically adept and irony to this if I skip my manager and go one manager above even he is limited Technical knowledge, both these guys have dominating managerial skills with little product knowledge, my manager dumps me with loads of work and not ready to listen to me when I say I am overloaded, besides this these guys are extremely political and double faced meaning they pretend to be very good in front of the business and very cruel and intimidating with their direct reporters, please advise i want to quit the job however I have a heavy home loan running under my name and I am not getting an suitable opening, slightly becoming nervous as well. Please advise

If you are better than your managers, they will trouble you. Try to get 3 job offers then leave this job.

Keep one eye out for new opportunities. Managers with limited technical knowledge are pretty common in IT. Scott Adams hasn't made a mint off Dilbert for nothing.
