Is it better to have coworkers you like but a job you don't or coworkers you hate and work you enjoy?
I just started a new job. My coworkers are friendly and professional but I don't really like the work. Its stressful. I am a social worker at a nursing home. The residents are nice but their families are often rude and annoying. Its also a lot of discharge planning which I don't like. At my old job the staff were from hell but the clients were great and the work was interesting. I am considering looking for another job. My friend said to reconsider because its better to have nice coworkers. What do you think??

That may be a day to day thing also. My job is in health care and it is like that quite often. I have been lucky to have reliable and loyal co workers. Just remember any time a job makes you physically or emotionally "sick"-that is a red flag to start looking for another job.

the former... coworkers can compensate for the crap job. if your coworkers make your day crap you won't enjoy the work anyway.
