Isn't it hypocrisy to hear the "law and order" types complain about the undocumented?

With most agricultural jobs are done by migrants? Ever see any of those minutemen starting a consumer movement to verify that produce was picked by legal immigrants? Or that landscaping is done by legal immigrants? Or "made in the USA" products are made by legal residents? For a group so concerned about "the law" why haven't these activists went to the source of the problem with consumer advocacy? Or actually proposed getting tough on those who employ ie. the ones responsible for them being here? Doesn't that betray that its not about ones legal status at all; but "the help" getting uppity and changing the demographic of the country?

One would expect "law and order" types to oppose illegal immigration. You should learn the definition of hypocrisy.

You can legally enter this country to work on the farm and many of those who work those jobs are here legally. I love the way the left had suddenly decided that every business owner should be employed by the government to enforce there own laws. Not the business fault if there here working its the governments fault.

Cracking down on illegal immigration is counterproductive. It causes entire farms to go unharvested.

I'm more practical in my opinion on immigration. With 11 million undocumented workers making an estimated $8 per hour (just a guess) at 40 hours per week, the projected tax revenue from having them documented is over $10 billion per year, which assumes that only 50% will actually pay taxes at a blended rate of 12...
