How are students in professional schools support themselves financially?

I'm struggling so badly financially while being in medical school. I wait for loan disbursement each semester to help myself. I only get 8,000 and 6,500 goes to school, with 1500 i use to survive for 4-5 months which includes bills. I can't work because of my crazy schedule. What am I supposed to do besides praying God to make things better soon.... My mom is a single parent who got laid off. I have no relative to help me. I have bills piling up. It has been my dream to become a doctor so there's no way I would have not gone for it. But, right now I have nothing to support myself. My next loan disbursement will be in April, I have -30 dollars in my account living with my mom. I try to think positive and keep telling myself this temporarily but this will go on for next 5 more years................... :(((((((((((((.................. How are people who have no financial support from relatives or other places helping themselves?? Please excuse my spelling and grammar mistakes. I stay up all night till 10 am studying alone, but my brain keeps drifting off to my financial issues. I don't go out at all because I can't afford to waste any money. I just wish government provided a little support financially for bills and food necessities for students in professional school who can't work. But, I guess for another 5 years I have to suffer like this. Thanks everyone. I don't have a car and cell phone I'm about to get a cheaper plan but to cancel T-moble they are asking me to pay them 200 dollars. I'll try to make the best of everything as much as I can. Thanks again ..

I'm also in medical school, but thankfully I have my parents helping me out and I honestly can't imagine being in such a tight financial situation and still having to cope... More
