My favorite author is Cassandra Clare, and she currently has two series out, which has the first being made into movies (first one comes out in august). A book I liked was "the ghost and the goth" by Stacy Kade. It's very fiction, contains comedy, romance and a bit of action. Very good trilogy if I do say so myself.

Choker by Elizabeth Wood is a really quick, but amazing read. Its a thriller and mystery book, and I highly recommend it for light reading.
