Am I missing my previous job or just one particular person?

Hi, I have worked for almost 3 years in a company and due to lack of work for all extern people, they had to let me go. My boss (a weird word because he was not really a boss but the manager of the department where I worked for) really tried to keep me around and it was really nice to see all the effort he put in it but in the end the higher managment won. The person I refer to in my question, was the person I worked everyday with, 5 days a week. You can call him the project leader of the project I worked for these (almos) 3 years. I've had a few jobs now and I can tell he was the person with whom I worked the best with. We had a strickly professional relationship and we never socialized outside work. And no, he isn't what you can call an a************n and I am in a relationship and not looking; he is married with kids and it would never cross my mind to come in between. But we "clicked"good, he'd explain clearly what was expected from the daily tasks and I'd understand him good. I really felt there was a good chemistry there. I could go on and telling how it seemed how I missed his presence when he wasn't around. My feelings varied a lot so I dismissed it as a typical bored at work moments. I was lucky to find another job really quickly. I like it, it isn't bad but isn't the same ambient as my previous job. The fact is, lately my mind is drawn back to my previous job and then I think about him but not with a specific order so that's why I am a little confused. Can anyone shed some light? I'd like to read your opinions. Thanks.
