What are safe inversting options?
I recently became full-time at my job...going thru open enrollment...they have a 401k in which if I dont choose what I want...where it should go...they will do it for me..at 5%....which is ok..I was only gonna do 3%....I have asked my family..and not really getting any answers from them...just want something safe ...where I dont lose any money...thanks..

You should talk to your 401k plan representative to help you set up an allocation consistent with your risk tolerance. You did not disclose what investment options are available or what you term as "safe". There is safe for short term and safe for long term. Make sure you put in whatever they match. If they match up to 5% then dont put in 3%, you are throwing money away if you aren't going to even take what they are giving you. I would put 50% into an internationl fund, and 50% into a domestic fund ... jmo.
