I want to have a government job, what do I major in at College?
More specifically I want to work either at the National Archives, the library of congress, or the smithsonian institute. Is there anything particular I have to major in at college?

It depends upon the kind of work you want to do. A MS in Library Science sounds like something that might work, or a CS degree if you're more interested in the technical side of things.
