How long do I have to call the human resources back?

So I really wanted to find a job in the hospital. I know it's hard for my because I have never had a job but I did a lot of volunteering. I was a patient at that hospital, did my physical therapy there, and I also volunteered there. I talked to someone at the human resources and I emailed her my resume. She called me back 2 weeks later and she said she forwarded my resume to the pharmacy recruiter. So what do I now? Should I try to keep in touch with the recruiter or call that lady in the HR? It's been about 3 weeks. She said they were hiring in the summer but I don't see the job listing online yet. I am so frustrated. Since she forwarded my resume to the recruiter, does that mean the recruiter will contact me for sure or not? :( HELP! I also know a pharmacist who works at the hospital. Should I ask him to help me out? How should I approach him? HE seems to like me and he always says hi to me like today.. but i'm sure a lot of students asked him before.. I'm just scared of getting rejected..

Call the lady for information and if she doesn't have any call the recruiter. It seems like 3 weeks is a long time.
