What GCSE (s) will I need to get a job in computer programming?

I want to become a software designer for a company like Microsoft or Sony and I want to be high up in the business. Can anyone tell me what choices to take as I am choosing in a few weeks. Also what sort of programming jobs are there in places like Microsoft.

You need A levels in a Scientific discipline ie: Physics, Maths & Computing. Forget your big ideas you will need a first class degree and experience before any of those 2 Companies would even consider you. UK
