What do i need to become a PE teacher in a secondary school?

I am 17 years old and just completed my first year on a Public services course, I have been training for the army for years now but i have just started to go off joining the Marines and the other parts of the army i looked into, but because i enjoy the practical sessions at college and i really want to become a PE teacher. I just want to know what sort of qualifications would i need to have to get int a university decent enough to actually get good grades for becoming a teacher. Also what would the course be like and how long would it be and are PE teacher jobs in high demand or just the same as any other job really hard to get in to, thank you :)

BS degree with specialization in PE. I would also suggest majoring/minoring in something else, too. There are not as many PE positions and you sometimes have to take something else and wheedle into the system.
