Why would someone pay $800.00 for a CNA class, when CNA jobs pay less than some fast food places?

I'm starting a class to be a CNA. Every CNA job I can find in my area (Pueblo CO) only pays $8.00-$9.00 per hour, especially for people without experience. How does this make financial sense? Why do other people do this? I think McDonalds pays better...I am having second thoughts about becoming a CNA because it doesn't seem to make any financial sense?

Bc some ppl join cna program to gain expierience snd get a step n the door to work in a hospital which can pay a cna 11-13 an hr. Some rn schools require u to b a cna before being a rn these days. I knw pay is low but sometimes its worth it for those who work they way up

Fast food pays minimum wage, and most positions for general staff is part time. Atleast with cna the wage is higher, easier to... More
