What is the best way to find jobs in my area?

I'm looking to save money to move, and I've never had a legit job before. Apart from going site to site, what are some ways I can apply to places in my area online, or websites that can help?

The best way is just to hit the pavement - go to every restaurant, shop, etc near you and ask if they are hiring. If there is a mall in your area, print out a copy of your resume and go into every store and food service and ask if they are hiring. There are no easy websites for "first jobs". Employers such as mcdonalds, etc, do not have to post on those sites. Why would they? Smart kids know to go directly to company websites.

You could look on craigslist for a job in your area. They separate jobs by type so you can look in the area you'd prefer to work in.
