What To Wear During A Non-Mangament Job Interview?

It is my first to undergo job interview. The job I am applying for is a retail sales staff, do I still have to use long-sleeved top or can I just wear short-sleeve blouse with the collar?

I know this q sounds silly to most but I am at a loss, I would not have asked if I know already.

Thanks.

It's summer so long sleeves aren't necessary, but don't wear a sleeveless shirt. Don't wear a revealing neckline. Don't wear a skirt shorter than fingertip length. Slacks are fine as long as they aren't skin tight. Your clothes should be clean and pressed. Don't have your hair hanging in your face. Don't chew gum. Don't have your cell phone on during interview.
Do show up on time. Do speak so you can be heard. Do ask questions if you don't understand something. Do thank them when you leave. Relax. Everyone has or will be in your place at some time.

Always think to yourself that you should dress for the job. When they look at you, just wear what you think you would be asked to where for the position. Don't stress over it. Just be yourself, answer questions honestly, smile a lot. A smile and charm can go a long way. Keep the outfit PG rated and you are good to go.

You need to look professional. Like a receptionist at a lawyer's office or a manager of a bank.

It's not silly at all for you to ask. If you have tattoo's cover them up. Don't wear anything that is even slightly suggestive. A nice top with short sleeves or long with a to-the-knee skirt and flats or high heels would be totally appropriate. Since you would be in retail you are a representative of the store and no one would be offended by your attire. By the way, good luck with your interview.

People generally advise you to dress up at least two levels higher than the current job for which you are appearing. It will create a good first impression. For professional and senior management positions, a suit, with a tie and dress shoes is quite suitable. For women, a formal pant suit will be very apt. Women should wear only minimal and simple jewelry. Women candidates should opt for only moderate heeled shoes.

..Is there even a difference? Lol. I had an interview at a daycare about 3 weeks ago, and I was called and schedule for a Job Placement interview.. What does that mean? What's the difference between a regular job interview and a job PLACEMENT interview? This may sound obvious, but I'd like to know.. Thanks, all! <3

I am 16 and I have an interview for a job at McDonald's in a week. I don't have a work permit. I heard that you need a job offer to get a work permit, but I don't know if that's true. Will I look unprepared if I don't have a work permit? Should I try to get one this week?
