How do you explain a long list of different jobs during an interview?

My bf has had a lot of different jobs, and isn't sure how to explain this during interviews - he used to be very hot headed, and any time a boss was unfair, he would quit (before you make nasty comments - this was years ago when he was younger, he's not like this now). So how can you spin this into a positive during a job interview?

What the interviewee doesn't want to hear is, a negative remark about previous employee..that is an automatic red flag.
Instead a more honest answer would always be appreciated, " I was young, and wasn't really sure what i was looking for, but each job helped me realize my strengths and helped me find the area of work that I believe i will perform best in".

He should say he jumped around from job to job in search of his true calling and he feels that within this company his can apply skills he's gained from different aspects of employers and he feels he would fit perfectly in w/e position he's applying for.

I would only put jobs on the resume or anywhere that would give him good reviews or even no mention the first ones, you could also just explain the ones he was at the longest

Don't list any jobs that ended poorly just in case they do call. Only list jobs that would give a good reference or list people who you have worked for on a personally. Say you were mainly a self employed subcontractor of some sort for several years. Meaning that you just worked under that table for different people you knew( family and friends).

Also, you can lie all you want on an application. It's not illegal to make up whatever you want on a job application. The only thing that has to be true is your personal information like your name and soc number. Something like 30?f employers say they call the references so keep that in mind.

If he is asked, have him say it took awhile to find the right situation and he is more stable and career-oriented now

I have two interviews tomorrow, both from places that I feel might offer me the job right on the spot, but I really want the 2nd interview job more. If the 1st interview offers me the job right on the spot, how do I say that I want to think about it first without sounding like I don't want the job (in case the 2nd one doesn't turn out)? Thanks

One of the questions on every application is if i've ever been convicted with a felony or misdemeanor. I always check 'no'. But i have a stupid misdemeanor on my record that i've attempted to expunge many times. Now, after the successful interview, job offer, and starting employment, they tell me that they found this on my record, what should my frustrated response be 1. What? I thought that was expunged! or 2. I have no idea what that is, must be some sort of mistake??
