How can I show my personality during a job interview?

I want to be enthusiastic and interested.. I also want to stand out.. how can I stand out? I have a job interview at Mcdonald's this afternoon and I want to impress the hiring manager! It's just that I get stuck during the interview questions. This would be my first job so how can I show off my skills to get the job??? I've just done some volunteer work at the hospital, and I've joined school clubs at my college, but other than that I have no work experience. I heard having open availability helps though. So should I mention that during the interview? Would that matter? What kind of words should I use? Absolutely, positively, sure, of course, I just want to be myself but my best self, but I can't? How can I make myself be confident? Thanks.

McDonald's was my first job. I got it when I was 14 and the only experience I ever had was deliver newspapers. poorly at that.

I honestly have never heard of McDonald's turning down any applicant aside from the transients who show up lugging their shopping carts into the restaurant. Just be cheerful and polite and you'll more than likely get the gig. Open availability certainly does help, but don't let that effect your school, which should be top priority.

No need to over think it. This is McDonald's. Go in having the mindset that they are LUCKY to have you, not the other way around.

Be clean and neatly dressed in a conservative way, be on time for the interview(most important!), respond to questions that are asked in a clear voice without mumbling or rushing, be pleasant but don't giggle or crack jokes, speak positively about your former employers and co-workers and indicate that you will have no difficulty getting to work or handling the shifts you are offered(assuming this is true, of course).

Do not feel compelled to "stand out" in a special way. Competence wins over theatrics in interviews, trust me.

Any good interview job lines to say during a interview?

It is my first to undergo job interview. The job I am applying for is a retail sales staff, do I still have to use long-sleeved top or can I just wear short-sleeve blouse with the collar? I know this q sounds silly to most but I am at a loss, I would not have asked if I know already. Thanks.

..Is there even a difference? Lol. I had an interview at a daycare about 3 weeks ago, and I was called and schedule for a Job Placement interview.. What does that mean? What's the difference between a regular job interview and a job PLACEMENT interview? This may sound obvious, but I'd like to know.. Thanks, all! <3
