Look the interviewer directly in the eyes.
Be clean! Clean hands, nails, shoes, clothes, hair.
Be conservative-looking: get a haircut and make sure your clothes are pretty conservative - basically, dress the way you think your parents or grandparents would tell you to dress.
Be careful to answer the questions the interviewer asks you. If you have to take a few seconds to think about an answer, that's okay. Don't ramble on and on. Stick to the question asked. No matter what, do not be a complainer! Don't complain about your last job or your last boss.
Before you go to the job interview, think about what you are good at, and be ready to let that boss know. Some good qualities are: hard worker, follow directions, on time, get along well with others.
It is also a good idea to do a little research about the company/position you are applying for.
If someone does give you an interview, send them a thank-you note the next day, thanking them for their time and for considering you for the position.
Good luck!
