Interview Tips - Job Questions & Answers

These will be my first job interviews; all my other jobs were on-campus, and didn't really have an interview process. I have a BS in biology, and these are mostly lab jobs I'm applying to. I have my resumes and such, but I need interview tips. Some jobs have phone interviews first; I've been on some in-person interviews that weren't as bad as I thought they'd be (from what I read); I'm just looking for general tips.

I have an interview at Gloria Jeans coffee shop tomorrow. I really want this job and I was just wondering if anyone had any tips. I'm planning on wearing khaki pants a pair of heels and a black dressy shirt...but I'm open to suggestions on what to wear. Basically...I just want interview tips in general..but if anyone has worked there and has suggestions that are more specific..it would be really appreciated.

I read various articles about the job interview tips. Many authors suggest to give clear example during an interview. I did just that, and I felt like I bored the interviewers to death. Please advice. Thank you Sorry, English is my second language.

It's not a job or college interview. I'm a freshman in high school and I have an interview next week for my school's student ambassador program. It's a group interview, so I'll be interviewed along with a few other students. Does anyone have any interview tips? I am hoping to stand out and be prepared, but I need help because I'm starting to get nervous. Also, does anyone know what kind of questions to expect at a student ambassador interview? Just wondering. Thanks for taking the time to read this and if you have any tips/advice, thanks! :)

I have been in my current job for 3 years so it's been a long time since I've had a new job interview. I am so nervous! I am applying for a senior role; I have a portfolio ready, with all my certificates and qualifications, examples of displays I have carried out and evidence of nursery documents I have completed, such as planning, transfer documents, settling reports, etc. Do you have any interview tips that might help me?

I am studying overseas in Melbourne. I have not worked before because I study full time. Plus most good jobs require the applicants to be a citizen here. But I am turning 20 soon, i dun want people to know that I haven't got any work experience.. What can I do if my English is just okay (cant say i can be confident in it coz this is not my first language)? Any interview tips? Do I have to buy better clothes for job interviews? I got nothing abt work experience to put in my resume.

I have some experience with job interviews, and I'm used to answering most common questions, but I never really know what to ask at the end. It says on Subway's interview tips sheet that candidates need to ask questions. I have NO idea what to ask (and this is probably why I've been unemployed for a long time now) anyone have any suggestions?

I got a job interview at Pizza hut today at 4, and I was wondering what I should wear? My mom thinks I should dress professionally, but I think jeans and a nice shirt would be okay. Does anyone have job interview tips as well?

I just graduated from college and I have my first "real world" job interview on Friday for a legal assistant position. I own a black suit, is this appropriate? If not, I would appreciate some suggestions. Also, what is an appropriate way to wear my hair? It is permed so it tends to look a little less than polished. Any interview tips you could offer would be greatly appreciated!

I have a job interview (my first ever) at Bed Bath and Beyond on Monday night, but I'm confused about what to wear. So far I either have a nice blouse (I can't explain the color) with a pair of black dress pants or the blouse with a black pencil skirt. I will be wearing my hair wavy with a very neutral makeup look along with a pair of black flats. But I'm confused about which outfit to wear. I need help even though its only Friday night I'm nervous, so any job interview tips that have helped you would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance to anyone who replies back to my question (:

I work for a great company doing entry level stuff. I've worked there since July. I have nearly completed my Master's degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology with an emphasis in Human Resources. Just today my company announced that they are hiring a new Human Resource Representative!!! I looked over the job description and it sounds EXACTLY like what I want to do! I'm also very well qualified for the job, according to the qualifications they posted. Now, I just have to apply for this job and hopefully they'll call me for an interview. Any tips you can give me?
