	What are your best job search tips? I am looking for a job in the IT industry. I have a relevant 4 year degree and about 1 year relevant experience. I have had trouble with finding jobs in the past, although I have landed a fair amount of interviews. I have a few questions. What are your best tips for job searching? Any good resume'/cover letter/references tips? How do you feel about following up on a resume'? What are your best tips for interviews? What about following up on interviews? What are your best tips for job searching? Networking; get active on LinkedIn; many companies are not advertising open positions but rather recruiters to find you. There are so many places to get good cover letter resume templates online - I won't bore you with that here... How do you feel about following up on a resume'? BEFORE you submit your resume; find out if you know anyone working at this company - again. LinkedIn is a great resource. Then make sure when you submit resume you follow up with them and let them know. And yes, I always follow up with a quick email after I submit my resume. What are your best tips for interviews? Come prepared with a few questions. They are already interested in you, and your skill set matches the job description - which is why you got the interview. Don't assume you will get the job. Now is your chance to prove to them that you are the best person for the job. What about following up on interviews? Yes - always a thank you email is find.
