How do you know what jobs to leave off a resume?
Here is my problem. I recently graduated from college and most of my experience is in retail/sales. I am looking for a professional job. I have put togethor a resume with 2 jobs on it and I actually have 2 additional jobs I hadnot listed. The only problem with the 2 jobs I didnt list is I got terminated from the position. The first job happened around 5 years ago and I really doubt any manager I worked with would remember me or is still there. I am considering putting it on my resume and saying the reason I left was layoff. Second job I had lasted about 1 and a half months and they had a 90 day period. I was canned before the 90 days. Could I put this on my resume, lie about the amout of time and change it from 1 and a half months to three months and then I went back to school. Anyways I am trying to include as much experience as I can. Also how much information can a hiring individual get on an individual and how would I find out whats on my record? Thanks
