I am interested in three different jobs. Each job requires a resume, would i have to make 3 different resumes?

3 jobs: secretary, food service worker, and the other is working with children.
Each require a resume.. now, would i have to make three different resumes for each job? Or should i just change the objective? Thing is.. all of the applications and resumes submitted for these jobs are all reviewed by the same lady.

It is best to tailor each resume for the specific job ,

i would definately make 3 different ones , highlight the most pertinent information for the different jobs according to you experience ,

you dont want one resume for everything because it is too long and ends up looking like a book of your life story and that is not what the hiring manager wants to see.

The best thing to do might be to ask the lady what she prefers. If you use one resume for all three jobs, I would eliminate the objective altogether. Better to go without one than to include a meaningless, vague objective, I think.

Yes, the objective in each resume should be different. Try to match the needs of the employer with the information you provide. This requires different wording and a bit of insight into the requirements of each of the jobs. If you do not know what is required, find out.

If they are all viewed by the same person,I would apply for all three jobs, but give her only ONE resume. If it was reviewed by 3 different people I would still give them each the same resume. I always put a general objective on mine, not specific.

If you just completley walked out on a job because it was sucking your life away, what would you write on your resume/job application for a new job? No, I don't want to dis my old boss or job, they were all nice people, it was just the job itself that sucked and I really couldn't take one more minute of it. And I don't want to write anything that says that it was a bad place, b/c obviously that would look bad on myself as well. I was just looking for something like "wanted to move on" but I'm not sure if that is acceptable for a job application. Haha. I think comments like "sucking my life away"" mean I am exactly the opposite of a typical 9-5 worker....
