I'm a sponsored skater and i'm looking for some stunt double work or just extra's work skateboarding as i can add to my resume. Jobs must be in florida. Are they any sites that I can find jobs like that?
I've already done the online application w/ resume & jobs were open. NOW WHAT? Do I just sit and wait, or is there anything else I can do? I'm 19 yrs old.
How can i increase my resume views as i have registered my resume in job portals like Naukri, Monster, Timesjobs etc.?
If you just completley walked out on a job because it was sucking your life away, what would you write on your resume/job application for a new job?
No, I don't want to dis my old boss or job, they were all nice people, it was just the job itself that sucked and I really couldn't take one more minute of it. And I don't want to write anything that says that it was a bad place, b/c obviously that would look bad on myself as well. I was just looking for something like "wanted to move on" but I'm not sure if that is acceptable for a job application.
Haha. I think comments like "sucking my life away"" mean I am exactly the opposite of a typical 9-5 worker....
I was forced to resign during my probation period at a job, or else I would have been fired. I only had it for 2 months, I was unable to meet the physical requirements of the job. How should I put this on my resume/job applications?
Let's say that I am looking for a job and it will be my first real, official job. What would I do in terms of resume, job applications, and just explanation and things I should say to a possible employer?
Hi, I am a SW professional working in India. Can I upload my resume in job sites for the US and UK?
2.Will they look into the profiles of people form outside their countries?
3. In the case of US,is it mandatory to have a H1B visa? Will the company that hire u offer the h1-bs?
Im trying to help a friend without actually doing it for her,. so give some hints on how to write a resume for job search or applying for jobs.
I have prepared a resume with a cover letter, references and everything like that but for the place I want to apply to it says please send your resume to job #.... and I don't know how to do this.
Im applying for now for summer jobs and regular jobs that i can hold for a year or two. The only work experience is currentl workin at the family-owned restaurant as delivery driver, bagger, and takin orders, i nvr get paid.I also worked at a friend's restaurant for a while when he needed me, i got paid there. Is it ok for me to put my family restaurant on my resume and job applications under work experience. My father is the manager and boss.
I have to send out a resume to jobs I am applying to, but a lot of employers want resumes to be faxed rather than email. I don't have a fax machine, which is why it is easier for me to just send it by email. It is inconvenient to go somewhere and pay to get my resume faxed. I can't afford a fax machine right now, so this makes things worse. What is the difference between a resume sent by fax and one sent by email?
Ok... Well I spent a lot of money to buy microsoft 2010 home and student and mainly to be able to make a good resume and to attach my resume to job sites. It still just doesn't work. None of the job sites and specific jobs that I'm applying for still won't allow me to attach my resume. Does anyone have any idea why? And how can I fix this problem?
I have a cover letter, resume, job application, 2 letters of recommendation and proof of awards/skills.
What order should these go in?
And should I staple them or paper clip them?
Any other advice would be appreciated as well. Thank you. :)
Can I write down my company research on my resume for job application?

Got a degree with first class honour
Don't know what to write apart from the fact that i have got a degree and the research i have done for the company
I see resumes all the time at work and I have noticed that they all seem to have the same words and phrases.
It is as if there is a special vocabulary for resumes and job finding.
Everyone is always "currently" doing this or "passionate" about that.
Most of them believe that they will "be of great benefit" to the cause.
They all describe jobs as "positions".
There are many more which I have forgotten.
Anyway, I am searching for a job myself, should I or should I not keep within the constraints of this odd convention?

In the past, I have posted my resume on a job board with my mailing address but all I got were response emails from spammers. I don't feel safe having my full address on my resume. For security reasons I have decided to just include my city and zip code under my name on the resume. Will recruiters still take my resume seriously.
My phone number and email address is visible on the resume.
I would like to avail of the professional services of reputed sites like Naukri, Monster, etc. in India. How good / effective are these for Resume Development & job-hunt for mid-career professionals. I have heard they are good at inserting popular "keywords" into the Resume to help one get more responses from employers. Is that so ? What are the alternatives ?
