I've been a SAHM for over a year now, and I have applied for a Diploma of Nursing via QTAC today. Just wondering by personal experiences what job you landed from a diploma of nursing, or what jobs you can get? If I get accepted I may consider a Degree depending on my financial situation.
Thanks in advance!
I know I'm fully competent for a job like that but no experience no job. I would like to know how can I gain some experience and if doing a short course would be enough.
I'm a teen in high school & I've been searching for jobs for quite a while . I have little to no experience & online job hunting isn't getting me anywhere , but anytime I go in to a store they tell me to go online for applications , I just need tips on how to get call backs ,interviews . Thank you for your help .
Currently, I'm studying Private Investigation at The Academy of Court Reporting. I have plans to study Criminal Justice and Computer Information Security at ITT Technical Institute. Prior to graduating, I wanted to know what entry level jobs should I be applying for? I have extensive software experience and physical security experience. What jobs combine the two fields?
I have a little college (forty credits) and I have worked for a convenience store for over three years so I have customer service experience. What jobs could I apply for at an airline and where should I start?
So i just turned 16 and i have started to apply to jobs. They ask for previous experience and jobs. What do i put if the only thing i have done close to a job is babysitting? oh and does ACE hardware hire people my age? I highly doubt they do but should i give it a shot?
I am an engineering undergrad student. At my school we have an option of taking a year off school for internship work (the graduation will therefore be delayed by one year).
I have heard a lot about the value of internship experience in job hunting after graduation of Bachelor degree.
However, if I am planning on pursuing Master, would my internship experience be anything useful? (would it be useful in applying master, or job hunting after master degree?)
What should I do?
The Principal of the school where I worked has failed to renew my contract for this year (unfairly!!!). School Board has apologised and offered my job back, however the Principal is telling the parents that the other person she had in mind would be better as she is more qualified and experienced than me. I have written email to prove it.
Well, I have a Masters in Performance in Pedagogy and close to 30 years of experience working with students from age 4 to nearly 70...
The girl that was to take over my job has not completed her Bachelor Degree yet and has about 2-3 years of experience quitting jobs everywhere (including this very school).
The Principal is clearly putting me down and misleading others.
What can I do?
Are there any legal actions I could take?
I go to a great college, have an above average GPA, have several internships under my belt, and research experience.
In job interviews, I consistently fail. The most likeable applicant always seems to get the job, even though I have equal or great experience.
So how will I get a job?
For a decent job.
I only had one full time job which I did for 5 years in the food industry.
And a few voluntary work on my CV which included: Primary school experience, charity job work experience and helping in a Scouts for youngsters.
I am not a student, and have experience and job stability (teacher) but I need a summer job. What is the average pay at Target? Minimum wage?
Well, I just finished High School and I'm waiting until University starts off which is like 4 months away. I'm looking for a job to utilize my time.
So how do I impress the employers especially if I have no experience?
Some jobs don't require experience but how do I impress them?
I'm looking into taking the 8 courses required to becoming a construction health and safety officer in Toronto Canada, I heard you also need a minimum of 5 years of practical health and safety experience, How would I go about gaining this experience, what job do I have to work or is it an apprenticeship that I need to go for?
And also, on those 8 courses posted on the IHSA website there is a member fee & a non-member fee, how do I go about becoming a member to get a discounted course fee do I have to be a part of a union?
Thanks in advance.

I found a job posting that might interest me even though I don't have very much retail experience. The job posting is for inventory control and the requirements are good computer skills and being detail oriented.
Would someone like me with little retail experience be able to thrive in this position? I'd like to apply for it since I do have computer skills and detail-oriented experience.
