Is this a female dominated industry? Any guidance would be much appreciated since I am about to start a course very soon. Many thanks for the Naturegirls reply. Yes . Cert IV for will be the better one to do. But to enrol for Cert IV you need to have Cert III (according to the course details on web). Were you able to start the Cert iv without the cert III? I do not have an accounting background . But I am familiar with the accounting terminolgy and have done a basic MYOB course. Would that be a sufficent knowledge to start a cert IV without cert iii? Your help would be appreciated much.

I applied for employment abroad through a Dr. Shean Edwards who implied that he recruits for Global Placements Services (email:dr.shean@yahoo.ca) who contacted me a day later and informed me that Wal-Mart Canada has offered me the position of Accounting Clerk III. Mr Jim Walton of Wal-Mart wrote me an email later confirming the offer. He required me to fill in some Interview Assessment Forms which and scan them back. Days later he sent me an offer letter on email for me to sign if I accepted the terms and conditions, stating that the original will be sent together with my work permit, visa and other clearance documents.I am supposed to fill the Wal-Mart Bio Data form and send it to their lawyer- (Virgil Smith Attorneys) for the processing of work permit and visa. I need to know whetrher anyone else has been offered a job thru email by walmart. Has anyone taken up a job with them? My stand, when the deal is too good, think twice. Is this a scam???

So I'm thinking of trying to become a chartered accountant but after researching a bit on it, most people say the whole process is "hellish". By hellish people say you will have no more free time and will be studying all the time. Is this how it really is? Im currently in grade 12 and I get 80's - 85's in most of my courses. I admit i can be a lazy person but to pursue this career i would be willing to put in hardwork..the only thing i am worried about is i wont understand the work? Does this job require the person to be naturally really smart? Not sure if anyone knows this but how often to people fail? Are you allowed to retake the tests? One final thing..so I took accounting in grade 11 and I do get all the work .. lol if anyone remembers is that like similar work i will be facing after as a CA.

Hello, I`ve got an email few days ago saying that he saw my resume in kijiji and he wanted me to be a housekeeper 3hrs per day and He will pay me $500 per week. He said that he is in Kabul and a captain of an army who will move here in Canada for his promotion. He also said that he will end me $1000 for me to rebate my 1st week and the rest will be for other expenses. He said to wait for the cheque and he will give me further instructions. I received a cheque from United States Treasury for the amount of $4500 instead of $1000 only. There was no return address from the mail and he said that he suppose to come last week but now he is telling me that the ticket money is in the $4500 that he sent me and now he wants me to send $3100 to his agent on UK by Western Union which sounds pretty fishy from the start. now I deposited the check on my bank account and its on hold but he thinks i can cash it out in just one click. Can anybody help me with the step that I should do? any advises for it? I have been victim of a scammer once and I don`t wanna happen again. TasyaAnn Here is the first email that «i got from him: Hi, I Found your Resume on Kijiji.ca as a Cleaner /housekeeping position, my name is Capt Latonia Williams, I am in Kabul as I write to you. I am a captain in the army and I work as a special force Candidate and with the 3d Armored Cavalry Regiment. I and my family are relocating to Canada (Toronto). My work is in the Army and there is a promotion program I will be attending, to commence next month. So I need someone who can always help keep my home tidy while am off to work and also help in running a few domestic errands as my wife is heavily pregnant at the moment. I’m offering 500 weekly; your service will be needed for three hours daily at any suitable time of yours. I am looking for someone who can handle this position efficiently, honest, reliable and a good person? The officer in charge of my posting to Canada (Toronto) will be handling the payment and other expenses, I will instruct him to pay for the first week of your service before we arrive so as to secure your service. He will be making out a pay check for 1,000 out of which you will deduct your pay for the first week and you will be using the remaining to buy food stuffs, groceries and other things needed in the house. I will also advise my estate agent to come and pick you and show you the apartment and handover the keys to you so that you can do all other necessary preparations before our arrival which is Aug 25th, I will also email you the shopping list and we will appreciate if you can do all this shopping a day before our arrival in other to save us the trouble of running around for the first few days of arrival.
