 | I work with Government contracts for a company I will not disclose. I was just wondering if there were other Sr. Accounting clerks that could answer what they are involved in or are responsible for. My boss has not clarified this to me and before I go up the chain to find out I want to be sure I am doing something like what ya'll suggest.

 | Is this a female dominated industry? Any guidance would be much appreciated since I am about to start a course very soon.
Many thanks for the Naturegirls reply. Yes . Cert IV for will be the better one to do. But to enrol for Cert IV you need to have Cert III (according to the course details on web). Were you able to start the Cert iv without the cert III? I do not have an accounting background . But I am familiar with the accounting terminolgy and have done a basic MYOB course. Would that be a sufficent knowledge to start a cert IV without cert iii? Your help would be appreciated much.

 | I applied for employment abroad through a Dr. Shean Edwards who implied that he recruits for Global Placements Services (email:dr.shean@yahoo.ca) who contacted me a day later and informed me that Wal-Mart Canada has offered me the position of Accounting Clerk III. Mr Jim Walton of Wal-Mart wrote me an email later confirming the offer. He required me to fill in some Interview Assessment Forms which and scan them back.
Days later he sent me an offer letter on email for me to sign if I accepted the terms and conditions, stating that the original will be sent together with my work permit, visa and other clearance documents.I am supposed to fill the Wal-Mart Bio Data form and send it to their lawyer- (Virgil Smith Attorneys) for the processing of work permit and visa. I need to know whetrher anyone else has been offered a job thru email by walmart. Has anyone taken up a job with them? My stand, when the deal is too good, think twice. Is this a scam???

Employment Relations Act 2011(c. 18). (LT-085-10-09)
This authoritarian program is foundation on Part III of the British Labour Code.
UK Flag
Casper M. Bloom, Q.C., Ad. E.
Chairperson.
What is the PLRSD?
The Public Labour Relation Service Department (PLRSD) Ministry for Work - Pension Board, is a government - regulating quasi- institute responsible for administering all employment and the service system under the Code within the British federal public skilled migrants services. The Board’s mission is to promotes, process and support in agreement for employer-employee relations.
Congratulations!
Mr.John Mugai Njenga.
Country Of Origin :Kenya.
United Kingdom Visa Type : UK Work permit/ Visa Type .
Our institute have verified your : Tier 1 visa reference, applications data, that we received on- your behalf from the British Immigration Home Office & Visas Affairs London Public service section, that is in-charge for your visa processing: UK Tier 1 General working visa type.
As you have applied for your tier 1 general UK working visa to enter and work in United Kingdom, it's a very big opportunity for non citizens to gain British Permanent Resident and rights Permits to work and live in United Kingdom for many years.
Employment Standard Services:
The fundamental principle of decency at work underlies all the Labour standards legislation!
Fairness at Work: Federal Labour Standards for the 21st Century Government officials, business leaders and unions have a long history of collaboration in negotiating fair and equitable employment standards for workers in British societies.
Such standards protect the rights of these Immigrant workers, foster positive workplace environments and proactive relationships between managers and employees and, ultimately, benefit the bottom line of any business.
While the Labour Program focuses on regulating workplaces in the federal jurisdiction, some programs do apply to other workers.
Did you know that 90 percent of the British workforce is covered by provincial or territorial labour laws? Only 10 percent of all United Kingdom businesses are federally regulated.
The Prosperity and Work policy commission develops Labour’s policy direction and thinking on the economy and welfare.
It considers current issues ranging from pensions reform, to rights at work, to how United Kingdom should compete in an increasingly globalise economy.
Labour's policies on asylum and immigration, Asylum & immigration
British is a country with a strong tradition of providing a safe haven to those genuinely fleeing from shortage of employment in their country and we will continue to do so.
However, this tradition can only be protected if we prevent abuses through illegal immigration and abuses of the asylum system.
Our challenges are clear: to protect our borders from those who seek to abuse the system; to continue to provide a safe haven to those genuinely seeking shelter / job offers, and to prevent abuse of the asylum system; to manage migration to meet the needs of our economy; to welcome hard-working and talented legal immigrants and help them to become British - citizens, with of all the rights and responsibilities that entails.
How can we best manage legal migration to fill key gaps in our economy?
Hands unity
We need managed migration: our economy benefits substantially from it, and the vibrancy of our culture is in no small part down to hard-working and talented migrants.
We must therefore be undimmed in our determination to make the case for properly managed immigrants on but if we are to defeat those who use asylum and immigration to stoke up fear and racism, we must also tackle abuse of the system.
We welcome hard - working legal migrants who want to make a contribution towards the wealth and prosperity of the British.
But like all freedoms we also need rules and limits.
Migration must be properly managed and we are introducing a new points-based system to ensure that only those who benefit British can come here to work or study, helping to fill key vacancies.
We are proud to offer you our premium services!
The Premium Skill work approval code for British Overseas Labour Certificate [ BOLC ] approval services is the most, best comprehensive British migrants service that we do offer to visitors on working Tier 1 General basic.20
We are very happy to inform you that your application letter request to our office is successful and set process, to enable you get hold of your (BOLC) British Overseas Labour Certificate, which ( MUST ) be approve and sign by our director general.
But because we found out from your data that you has never been worked

To the 3rd responder: I had a large gap because I had to continue high school and move on to college. It was a part-time job that I did while I was a sophomore and junior in high school. I was allowed to work because it went for 16-20 hours a week only. After graduation, I focused my attention in school and has been completely unemployed. What else am I supposed to put if I have no relevant industry experience? I had to put at least the ones I ended up doing (hands-on) in school. I'm 23 so i hope you understand that I just finished my degree 2 months ago.

Anyway Am Robert Williams, my self and my family are relocating to United state from United kingdom.I will be coming there for a business summit and also for some private research work. So i need someone who could help me take care of my home by doing some home work while am off to work and also help in running some errands because my wife is heavily pregnant. I will be offering you $300 weekly. Your service will be needed for three hours daily at any suitable time of yours , Mondays through Fridays.

You will get the foodstuff on the day of our arrival which is April 25th 2011. | So I'm thinking of trying to become a chartered accountant but after researching a bit on it, most people say the whole process is "hellish". By hellish people say you will have no more free time and will be studying all the time. Is this how it really is?
Im currently in grade 12 and I get 80's - 85's in most of my courses. I admit i can be a lazy person but to pursue this career i would be willing to put in hardwork..the only thing i am worried about is i wont understand the work? Does this job require the person to be naturally really smart?
Not sure if anyone knows this but how often to people fail? Are you allowed to retake the tests?
One final thing..so I took accounting in grade 11 and I do get all the work .. lol if anyone remembers is that like similar work i will be facing after as a CA.

 | Hello,
I`ve got an email few days ago saying that he saw my resume in kijiji and he wanted me to be a housekeeper 3hrs per day and He will pay me $500 per week. He said that he is in Kabul and a captain of an army who will move here in Canada for his promotion. He also said that he will end me $1000 for me to rebate my 1st week and the rest will be for other expenses. He said to wait for the cheque and he will give me further instructions. I received a cheque from United States Treasury for the amount of $4500 instead of $1000 only. There was no return address from the mail and he said that he suppose to come last week but now he is telling me that the ticket money is in the $4500 that he sent me and now he wants me to send $3100 to his agent on UK by Western Union which sounds pretty fishy from the start. now I deposited the check on my bank account and its on hold but he thinks i can cash it out in just one click.
Can anybody help me with the step that I should do? any advises for it? I have been victim of a scammer once and I don`t wanna happen again.
TasyaAnn
