I am trying to get into pharmaceutical sales and want to know the best way to do this. I have no direct experience in pharmaceutical sales however I do have 3 years of outside sales experience plus 15+ years of direct customer service. I have a BS in Social Science with a minor in Gerontology. I have medical terminology and had started out working on my nursing degree before changing majors. I have worked as an executive administrative assistant, accounting clerk and HR assistant up until the last three years and want a new career path. And before it is suggested that I have to be somewhat attractive, I modeled in high school and college. So with all of this said...Any suggestions or leads? Any and all help is greatly appreicated! Thanks in advance!

I have posted my resume on a website called " Careerbuilder" and the next day two companies or a recruiter, or hiring manager contacted me via email about a position as a career agent and the other contacted me for a position as an account executive in marketing. I'm not interested in these because I'm looking for a job as an Administrative Assistant/Clerical/General office work.

A company that does marketing responded to my resume that I posted on a job site and they want me to come in for an interview for a Account Executive position. The thing is I am looking for a job as an administrative assistant, clerical work or general office work and I have no interest in marketing so I'm not sure why they would contact me. I'm not sure if I should go to the interview.

I'm finishing up school, and I have taken a job being an executive assistant to the CEO of a forune 500 company. It's high stress, and very technical as it is a telecommunications company. I don't fully understand all the lingo yet, and my bost (who i'm supposed to be helping) is too busy to teach me what to do on a daily basis. I can do everything that he's asked me to do, but there's got to be more than just waiting, right? What should I be doing to help him during the time frames when I don't have anything else to do? Please help! I want to be able to do this well!!

Bookkeeping, Accounting Clerks, Account Collectors, Human Resources Assistant, Executive Secretaries, Administrative Assistants, Customer Service Representative, Insurance Claim/Processing Clerk? I have an opportunity to further my education (I already have an AS) and get a certificate of completion. I want something that is very flexible to move between states (unlike something that requires a state certification). Which would be most useful in a small town?
