I am an accounting major and I am doing a project for school. I have to pick a corporation that I'm interested in working for. The trouble I am having is, the jobs I am interested in are for private companys. Does anyone know of a company that typically hires accountants with a bachelor's degree? A CPA job would probably be fine too, I'm not sure if I want to get my masters yet or not.

In your opinion, do you think a degree in business is better than a degree in medicine/health? What jobs are available to me with a degree in business? Can i find a high paying job with a BA in business, or is a higher degree of education required? In general, do people with degrees in health/medicine make more than do people with business degrees?

I am working for a CPA, have done 3 audits, numerous compilations and reviews, and went through one hectic tax season. I am trying to study for the CPA and hopefully take it in February. What pay range should I expect before and after I pass the exam? I know it can vary. I am just looking for a ball park figure of what to expect. Is that $40k for a non CPA or CPA?

I go to an Ivy League school that essentially has no accounting class. To satify the 150 semester hrs requirement of the CPA exam, should I apply to Master's programs in Accounting, or should I just take enough accounting classes to make myself eligible to sit for the exam? Do you know of any schools offering good (=high quality) accounting programs/courses? If possible, I would prefer the school to be in the West or East coast. I am graduating this May and I have a very high GPA. Thank you very much! Any advice is appreciated!
