 | I know that work-at-home jobs can be scams but I really need another job now so that once I get into law school I will be able to work a more convenient schedule and possibly leave my current job so I can go to law school sooner. If there are any data entry or administrative jobs out there that allow you to work from home someone please let me know.

 | I would like to work for a school district. I am interested in an administrative job, like library assistant, for I have experience working in a library. I would not mind work in an office as a clerk. I have a business degree, four years of library experience (a part time job I worked during college), and basic computer skills I learned in college. What other skills will I need to work an administrative job for a school district?

 | I just recently graduated college in December with a BBA in general business. I'm still working the job I have now, which is a low end blue collar office job getting paid only $14 an hour. There really isn't much upward mobility at my job. Overall it's basically just a dead end job. I would really like to get into a professional business administrative job, but where do I start? How do I begin this process? Thanks for all your help everyone.

 | I have been doing a customer service type of job since I graduated with a BA in communication studies. I really hate it. I want to have an administrative job or finance type job. What do I have to know to get those positions? computer skills? I am thinking about taking some computer classes at community college from next fall.

 | I'm a 23 year old college grad & currently interviewing for entry level administrative jobs. My problem is interviewers don't take me seriously because I look much younger than my age (my friends say I look about 19 years old). Also, I have blonde hair and I think a lot of interviewers judge me on that & assume I'm not very capable (as unfair as that sounds, but I'm not a ditz). So is there anything I can do to look more professional or intelligent during interviews?

 | To war zones if they want to? I'm applying for this administrative job in the army and I think I can get it because I have experience and everything, but i'm little hesitant to apply because I don't have a clue about the rules of military hiring whether you have to commit with them for a certain period, sending civilian workers to war zones, etc?

 | I currently work for a large university and will possibly be relocating as my fiance has just received a job offer from a company in Atlanta. Most of my experience is in special events / marketing / communications. I would love to find a job with a local college or university in Atlanta or would be open to working really anywhere. :)
I'm willing to take an administrative job that incorporates my skills (event planning, marketing, etc.) if necessary.
How is the job market in Atlanta? Do you think I'll struggle to find a job?
Thank you!

 | What I mean is: how could anyone in the military use the skills and training they learned via combat-related jobs, i.e., field artillery, infantry, etc., for the civilian workforce when outside of the military? What could combat jobs have to offer (law enforcement?) instead of technical, support, and administrative jobs in the military?

 | I graduated from a secretarial course with a certificate 8 years ago, and still can't get out of data entry and get an administrative assistant job. I am very proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook...PCs and Mac Computers, some accounting and payroll, excellent organizational skills, reliability, trustworthiness and high ethics (handling cash or account information), typing around 50 WPM, and 2 associates degrees. How do I get employers to see that I am overqualified for data entry, and perfectly suited for administrative assistant jobs?
