USA has basically 2 forms of Capitalism Crony & Corporate! This is where the elitist of wealth rise out of the business community. They are real predatory thieves, cons, masters of manipulation abusing & taking advantage of the citizen majority.
They puppet-master representative govt & the court systems at every level, this creates a "KLEPTOCRACY".
After saying Fannie and Freddie were fine and conveniently not noticing the market about to collapse does Frank deserve to chair this important committee?
My son was 26 when he passed away. Now, were being contacted by companies in regards to his past due accounts.
I am in India, I have opted for NDNC (National do not call) registry for my telephone to avoid marketing calls. I have got a call from my telephone service provider itself. Since the call is from my service provider to whom should I complain about this?
It has nothing to do with changing the way health care is performed.
Just the way we get health insurance.
First the dimming down of our schools, the weakening of our military, cap and tax, no free market, open borders, health care... when does it ever end this guy is insane and the rest of you libs with him
If Obamacare is allegedly going to provide more health care benefits to people why is Obamacare encouraging less health care benefits to people through increased end of life counseling , increased euthanasia/ do not resuscitate programs & increased rationing of health care benefits based upon the disability and/or age of the patient ?
of course i understand the bill. I was living in the US thenmy taxes would go into ObamaCare and Dems will benefit from that. SIlly

The Accidental Bank Robbery
Topic: Commercial Bank Management Branch Management)
Characters: Chris, Management Trainee at Commerce Trust Bank
Carole Baker, Teller at Commerce Trust
Chris wasn’t really pleased with his current assignment as a relief branch manager at Commerce Trust Bank, but it was a means to an end. Employed by the bank for almost two years as a branch management trainee, Chris desperately wanted to escape the training program and begin a career as branch manager. He had earned strong praise from his superiors throughout the training program, and Chris hoped this last phase of training would pass quickly and uneventfully. As a relief manager, Chris took over all management functions in various Commerce Trust retail branches whenever the regular office managers were called out of town for more than one day. The relief manager’s position was particularly challenging, because Chris was called upon regularly to make quick decisions regarding check cashing, small loan approval, and employee supervision when he knew few of the regular branch customers and little about the daily office routines. For assistance, Chris often relied on the judgment and experience of the senior tellers and customer service representatives within each office he managed. One recent assignment was particularly difficult because Chris was called to work in a small suburban office staffed by relatively inexperienced branch employees. At the end of his first full day in the office, Chris was not surprised when one of the branch’s young tellers, Carole Baker, reported to him that her drive-in teller window was $900 short. While Chris was accustomed to out-of-balance teller windows, Carole was not. She had just completed teller school the week before Chris’s arrival at the branch, and as a probationary employee, she knew that an unresolved $900 shortage would lead to the termination of her employment with the bank. When Carole approached Chris for help, she was in a state of panicGiven his experience in retail banking, Chris reassured Carole that he would locate the $900 shortage from the transactions ledger maintained by Carole’s computerized teller terminal. Sure enough, after reviewing Carole’s ledger entries for only a few minutes, Chris spotted the error. Carole had received a check for $100 from one of the bank’s regular depositors, incorrectly entered it into the computer for $1,000, and paid out $900 more in cash than the amount shown on the check. Both Carole and Chris were relieved to locate the error, and even more relieved that one of the branch’s best deposit customers was the unexpected beneficiary of Carole’s error. Surely the customer pulled away from the drive-in window without realizing the mistake. When Chris phoned the customer to explain the bank’s error, however, he was shocked when the customer reported receiving only $100 from Carole's window. Even when Chris mentioned that Carole would lose her job if the error could not be resolved, the customer steadfastly maintained that Carole had only paid $100 in exchange for the $100 check. Hanging up the phone, Chris turned toward Carole, who was now in tears. In order to reconcile her window, Chris would have to report the $900 error on Carole’s shortage report. While the source of the mistake was clear to everyone at the branch, the loss appeared unrecoverable. When Chris reported the shortage to the bank’s personnel department, as he was required to do by the bank’s branch operations policy, Carole would be fired. Wasn’t there something he could do, Carole sobbed, to balance her window without reporting the $900 loss? What should Chris do now?
It occurred to him that since the customer who took the money maintained some accounts with the bank, he could debit one of the customer’s accounts for the $900. Alternatively, he could place the $900 loss in a temporary suspense account to balance Carole’s window and resolve the issue at a later date. Chris was unsure whether to take one of these options or perhaps do something else.
Just cuz hes black? just cuz hes a democrat? what? personally i havent seen any change in my personal life from when Bush was president and when Obama is president. I'm pretty sure most of you havent seen a change either.
hey, most homes would be foreclosed anyways even if Bush was in office. A president isnt the guy soley responsible for the economy.
I never wanted this Health care bill to pass in the first place. People in Washington made this seem as if all of the USA in divided into Democrats in Republicans. The House of Representatives don't represent me anymore and what I want for this country is to be like what they did when this country was first formed (REPRESENT REAL HIGHLY EDUCATED PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT POLITICIANS), so why do they even exist today? This is not about our country anymore, its about who has power in Washington, and Obama is f**king this up.
Secondly, why does the news think that all Americans are SO very uneducated when it comes to politics? I think they said between 60-70?f Americans didn't want this bill to pass, and yet they say its something everyone wants. What is the reasoning behind this?
I am a thirteen year old girl in eighth grade. How will this health care bill affect me? I have been watching all the politicians talk on TV about this bill and it all seems like when I'm old enough to pay taxes I will be the one having to pay for the trillion dollars of debt this puts the country in. Will it be on my generation to pay off this debt that the government has forced upon us or will it just destroy this country further and bring us closer to a great depression? It supposedly will get rid of 5.5 million jobs. My dad has lost his job 3 times and is currently working for over 30,000 dollars a year less than he used to get. Is this how it will be when I'm out of college and working? I would like to hear both sides of any argument you may have.
Oh, goodie....the taxpayers have more taxes now....thank god that the banks are being rescued.....please....please, dont give any money to the American public school system....why not just give the banks the whole school budget, too?

"WASHINGTON – It was a bold response to skyrocketing health insurance premiums. President Barack Obama would give federal authorities the power to block unreasonable rate hikes. Yet when Democrats unveiled the final, incarnation of their health care bill this week, the proposal was nowhere to be found."
So now the government is forcing people to buy health insurance from big corporations who can charge whatever they want. This seems like the opposite if what liberals are advertising.
Obama is somehow obsessed with this health bill he wants so badly to push through. Do you think at this point will it ever happen.? As a private individual I get nervous even to think he will get it passed. I voted for Obama, but he seems to be doing things so quickly, I shake my head wondering that he's trying to do things way to fast. His actions seems like a runaway train racing to fast.
I'm interested how others feel about this subject, Half the doctors are saying they will no longer practice. If the bill passes. We are at a dangerous cross road how do others feel ?
