 | I'm graduating in May with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science, and I'm looking into jobs as a Clinical Research Coordinator/Associate. How soon before graduation should I start applying for jobs?
I do eventually plan on going back to school for my Master's degree, probably in public health; I will most likely complete that online and continue to work, however. Alternatively, I may get a Clinical Trials certificate from BU Medical School -- I'll see what ends up working the best with my future career/employer.
My schedule for my last semester of college is actually really easy -- I'll have Wednesday and Friday off, so I could theoretically work part-time for one of these companies I hope to apply to until I receive my degree in May. I was thinking of starting to apply in March -- is that too late? Too early? Advice is welcome! :) Thanks!

 | My dream job is in pharmaceutical regulatory affairs, currently im working in clinical trials and there is a job advertised for a regulatory affairs associate/ clinical trail coordinator. They need 2 years regulatory experience with clinical trial experience being an advantage. I have no regulatory experience, only clinical trial experience. Should i bother applying?

 | Okay, here's a little background:
I was supposed to go to graduate school for speech-language pathology, but I just had major ankle surgery yesterday and I will not be healed in time in order to enroll in programs. Instead, I want to slightly switch my plans and (hopefully) get some kind of clinical research job once I graduate undergrad (I have a political science degree, 3.7 GPA, and some experience in the medical field already). I was planning on enrolling in an online MPH program, as well. Is this feasible? I was also considering enrolling as a non-degree student in a clinical trials certificate program through BU Medical School. Ultimately, I want to be a clinical research coordinator, and I'm actually already qualified for a couple of those jobs now. Hopefully similar jobs will be available when I graduate in May. Which option would be better?
Also, if I'm graduating in early May, when is the best time to start applying for jobs? March? I've only had internships before, and I've been accepted almost immediately to all of those, so I'm not really sure what to do as far as a legitimate job is concerned. Thanks for the help!!

 | I am thinking of becoming a social worker but i'm unsure what job opportunities there will be once I finish the degree. Can anyone give me examples (as many as possible) where a social worker may work? Also do you have to specialise in one area?
Are there similar jobs available where I would be helping people, but the degree isn't necessary?

 | I'm an RN, BSN, with 13 years of acute and homecare experience. I live in an area with lots of medical research going on (San Diego), but all the jobs require experience to start. I have seen training programs but don't know how well they're respected. Any suggestions appreciated!

 | I need some good advice. I'm currently working with a good health care company that provides tuition reimbursement but you have to major in something related to anything in health care and sign a commitment to work agreement. I don't have a degree and I would like to take advantage of this situation but I don't know what to study can anyone recommend anything?
Things about me: I don't like school, I like working independently, I enjoy really expensive things so I need to make a lot of money.
is nursing hard?

 | I am very passionate about entering the clinical Research field, but have not been able to find a job since 4 months. Is it because I am not a nurse or health care professional? Because most job requirements are BS in science or BSN and I do have BS in biology; however, I Just don't get it. Also I have completed a course in clinical trials, even then no interview so far. Should I give up and pursue something else or what else I can do? Its a cycle, everybody want one year min experience, How would I get it if nobody gives me a chance?

 | I got a job offer last Wednesday (7 days ago) as a research technician at a university however a friend of mine has told me they have a new job opening today as a clinical trials assistant and they can put in a good word for me and i'll have a high chance of getting the job. I want to be a clinical trials coordinator so a clinical trial trials assistant will allow me to go down that path. Should i call the university and say i want to pull out my acceptance? (i havent signed a contract yet) Or should i take the job as a research tech and keep an eye out for clinical trials assistant positions?
